Where is Piney located? Clarion and Jefferson Counties.

How many miles? Approximately 23.7 miles.

What vehicles are acceptable on the trail? No road vehicles or rail buggies are permitted.

Are there width restrictions? No.

Is there an age limit? Everyone is welcome. Minors should be accompanied by an adult 18 or older.

Do I have to wear a helmet? Helmets have been shown to save lives. Use your own discretion.

When is trail open/closed? The trail is always open, but riders should be respectful of hunting seasons beginning late September into late January.

How do I know where the trails are?/Is there a map? Yes. There is a downloadable trail map under trail/directions on our website.

Where can I park? We have two trailheads, Limestone and Piney Dam. The gps coordinates can be found under trail/directions on our website.

Are there camping/RV sites with direct access to the trails? Piney Meadows Campground is located down from our Limestone Trailhead.

Is there a place to get gas? Palmers Country Store on Rt. 66. Calling ahead for store hours is advised.

Do I have to be a member? We prefer riders are members.

 

How do I join? We have a downloadable application located on our web site that can be mailed to us with all fees.

 

Can I join online? Currently, we are working on offering memberships online. Check back in 2023 for more information.

 

Who does the membership cover? You, spouse or significant other, and any children in the home under 18 years of age.

 

What is the membership cycle? January 1 to December 31.

 

What if I lost my membership sticker or have multiple machines? Additional stickers can be purchased for $5.

 

Where and when are the monthly meetings? The third Thursday of each month at the Clarion Eagles with some destination meeting locations on the third Friday of specific months. Friday dates and locations can be found on our website.

 

Is there club merchandise? Yes. We have merchandise available at all meetings and at each club sponsored event. Throughout the year, we also do online special sales of seasonal merchandise.

 

Can I register online for events? We do not offer those services at this time.

 

How do I access the members online section of the web site? Upon joining, you will be given a user name and password.

 

I can't remember my password? There is an option “forgot password” to try first and if that doesn't work, our administrator can reset it.

Do you offer a day pass? A day pass is available for purchase online and mail in version under day pass on our website.

Do you have club only events? We have a few exclusive events for our members.

 

Do you offer public events? Each year we hold a Friends and Family Day to invite you to come out and ride the trail, talk to members, ask questions and have fun.
