Thank you for your consideration in being a sponsor to Piney Rail Riders (PRR). PRR is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization with the mission to acquire and maintain (for motorized as well as non-motorized use) the 23 miles of former railway line running through the scenic hills and valleys from Clarion, PA to Brookville, PA. This railway is one of the last open rail beds available to motorized vehicles. Sponsorships help enable us to fund the various requirements we face in acquiring the rights to the rail bed and maintain the areas that need repairs such as the 7 small trestles that cross Piney Creek. 

Currently we are accepting annual sponsorships in the following amounts of $125 for the 12-month period running from January thru December of that calendar year. A sponsorship entitles the donor to the following:

• Advertisement on the Piney Rail Riders website, Facebook page, newsletter and email notifications to our entire membership.
• Permission to place signage at trailheads advertising your business.
• Signs directing riders to your place of business if it is close to the trail.
• Tax deductible donation for you.

The impact of trail systems like ours on local economies is evident in other states such as the Hatfield McCoy trails in West Virginia, the network of 1000’s of miles in the Northeastern states of Vermont, New Hampshire, and Maine, as well as a trail system closer to home, Snow Shoe Rails to Trails (SSRT). SSRT has maintained a multi-use trail for 19 years and has watched their area prosper due to increased traffic in tourism.
